A massive week for Carl Cox Motorsport and Holeshot PR

This has been, by any standards, a pretty crazy week for Holeshot PR and our coolest client, Carl Cox Motorsport... all happening just as the main man was in the middle of the much-vaunted Prodigy Tour!

The all-new Carl Cox Motorsport Uggly&Co Racing team has been months in the planning, and we organised for Britain’s biggest motorcycle publication Motorcycle News to meet Carl and new rider, two-time British Superbike Champion Josh Brookes, at the livery shoot. Brookes, who will be campaigning the bike at the North West 200, has already logged two podiums and an incredible top speed of 212mph at the event and has set his sights on his maiden win at Ireland's largest outdoor sporting event.

An Uggly&Co-produced video and social media content were teased out until the moment of publication in MCN, whereupon the embargo was lifted and a wider media and motorcycle PR outreach saw the story run in motorsport publications across the world, including the F1 bible ‘Crash’ and as far afield as Australian MCN.

Almost simultaneously, the British Superbike Championship was firing up for its final test at Oulton Park, with several team launches, including the Carl Cox Motorsport-supported ROKiT BMW Motorrad British Superbike team. The new team was created to support reigning Superstock champion, Ukrainian sensation, Ilya Mikhalchik in his premier class debut. Further strengthening its BSB presence, the CCMS brand is also backing Brookes and supporting Simon Reid’s campaign in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship.

“I’ve been a massive fan of bike racing since I was a kid at Brands Hatch,” says Carl Cox. “It’s incredible to see the team growing. Whether it's helping Michael Dunlop make history at the TT, Josh Brookes and our new team with Uggly&Co or supporting new talent like Ilya in BSB, we’re here to give these riders the visibility they deserve. Between the global tour, Isle of Man TT and the racing, it’s going to be a massive year.”

With a roster that spans the North West 200, the Isle of Man TT, and the full British Superbike calendar, Carl Cox continues to be one of the most prolific and passionate supporters in the sport.
