Holeshot PR all set for BSB30
The 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship is arguably one of the hardest to ‘call’ – with a stellar grid looking set to battle across the 33 race, eleven round series, in their 30th Anniversary Season.
For Holeshot, BSB remains our single biggest event with many of our clients having activities on and off the track. At the R&G Official Test at Donington Park we were given the opportunity to interview most of the 2026 race stars for Pirelli, to get their feelings ahead of the new year.
Who’s going to win the 2026 British Superbike Championship?
From discussing tyre strategy to the mental prep required for a 30th-anniversary title charge, we’ve got a wealth of social assets and behind-the-scenes footage ready to roll out as the season progresses.
This season we will again have a full team on the ground at every race to cover our clients needs for brands including Pirelli, Kawasaki, Ducati, R&G, Carl Cox Motorsport, Öhlins, Datatag, TAS Racing, SBS and many other projects.
Back on the grid, Ducati looked to have taken an early advantage with several teams moving over to the Bologna Bullets and the much-heralded twin swingarm equipped, V4R. However, with the machinery arriving close to the season start it may be a challenge to be on the pace for round one. Nitrous Competitions Racing (Kyle Ryde and Glenn Irwin) will be finding a base setting for the UK’s unique, undulating circuits along with other Ducatista: PBM with 2019 BSB Champion Scott Redding and the experienced team of Moto Rapido with the wily veteran, Leon Haslam.
Continuing the Latin theme but with a new manufacturer, bimota rejoin the paddock with FS-3 as the AJN Steelstock team brings the bimota KB998 to the grid with Max Cook and Joe Talbot, marking a historic return for the iconic marque.
Moving sideways, TAS Racing made headlines by switching from Ducati to Yamaha machinery, fielding a powerhouse duo of Danny Kent and Rory Skinner. For Honda Racing, it’s a new pairing in Ryan Vickers and Jason O’Halloran, a formidable duo with British and World experience.
However, the favourite for us is ex-BSB champ Brad Ray, who as last year’s runner up and with the consistency of the same team and bike, should get the season holeshot on his Raceways Yamaha YZF-R1.
The 11-round title battle kicks off on this May Bank Holiday weekend at Oulton Park, before moving through the traditional "Party in the Park" at Cadwell and eventually reaching the Showdown phase including the hop across the Channel to Assen in the Netherlands. As usual the series culminates at our local, beloved circuit of Brands Hatch.
