Biggest Summer yet for Holeshot motorcycle PR

As the chequered flag drops on the 2025 British Superbike championship, it also marks the end of our biggest-ever summer of motorcycle PR and social media services here at Holeshot. From countless races and world records to racking up millions of views for our clients, it’s been a riding season we won’t forget, and before our attention fully turns to show season, we thought we would reflect on an action-packed 2025 so far…

The mainstay of action this summer has been the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, where several of our team attended all 11 rounds. While there, they captured content for the Pirelli UK social media channels, engaged guests and VIPs with behind-the-scenes tours, and announced Pirelli’s ‘new deal’; that it will remain as the Sole Tyre supplier to the series until 2031, making it one of the longest relationships ever in motorsport.

Our work with Pirelli doesn’t end at BSB, though. We were also supporting the brand with the post-World Superbike event at Donington Park, the ‘Diablo Day’. This motorcycle pr event is a fantastic opportunity for press, VIPs, influencers and dealers to come together and celebrate all things Pirelli – and they were also joined by the Honda Racing TT duo of John McGuinness and Dean Harrison.

Speaking of the TT, it was another fantastic fortnight for Metzeler, the official tyre of the event. This global showcase of speed and bravery really needs to be seen in person, but for the millions of fans around the world unable to make the journey to ‘Mona’s Isle’, our team were on hand to capture behind-the-scenes insights from the event, with the brand’s social channels reaching of over 52 million people!

From one extreme to the other, this year we also attended the massive ‘HOG Rally’ in Croatia, to showcase the best in customising from supporting partner Metzeler plus the legendary Bikeshed event in London, alongside visiting customisers at their workshops.

The TT also gave us the opportunity to undertake one of our most ambitious projects yet. Earlier this year, we were tasked with helping to showcase the world of Kawasaki, from road bikes to Jet Skis, and, ever the laidback Aussie, we wondered what might happen were TT racer David ‘Davo’ Johnson to miss his connecting flight. Over several days of filming, and with the help of various Kawasaki partnerships, the resulting footage was incredibly well received, securing print coverage throughout the motorcycling sector and racking up over a million views online within the first few days.

2025 marks our fourth year with ‘Team Green’, and over that time, our role as their UK PR agency has continued to evolve. Alongside viral-worthy PR stunts like the Davo video, we’re also responsible for their day-to-day comms, whether that be creating stories for their bi-annual Club Kawasaki members magazine, organising press tests, bringing the world of Kawasaki to life through their social media channels, or helping spread the news of events – such as JD Stunts’ recent Guinness World Record-breaking ‘highchair’ wheelie. Those of you on the Kawasaki press list will no doubt have seen some of the exciting models joining the lineup for next year, and we’re looking forward to seeing these in the flesh at EICMA and MCL next month.

This year also saw Holeshot appointed by Kawasaki Motors Europe to help with their racing communications. Alongside populating social media from over 40 World Superbike, MXGP and Endurance World Championship race events and tests, our team play an important role in their internal comms, ensuring Kawasaki branches throughout Europe have up-to-date information and content to share on their own channels.

It was another busy summer for our long-time partners R&G. In August, we helped them maximise their sponsorship at their home round at Thruxton, bringing along the likes of MCN and Fast Bikes to learn more about the brand, as well as taking several influencers and ambassadors behind the scenes of a race weekend. We’ve also supported them through traditional PR, with features and product tests abound, as well as increasing their digital presence with content, social media management, and social ads.

For our EV client, Vmoto - the UK’s biggest selling brand, this summer consisted of various shows including MotoGP where they supplied paddock bikes to top racers and the organisers themselves, alongside press tests, dealer comms and photoshoots. In fact we’ll be supporting the manufacturer itself with content and the EICMA show in a few weeks.

The last few months have seen us step up our involvement with two important manufacturers: Royal Enfield, as we covered the sideways action at the DTRA Flat Track series, and Ducati, as we followed their racing efforts, including a Michael Dunlop TT victory showstopper. Some other notable projects include shooting products, people and events with Belstaff, Bennetts, Öhlins, Silkolene, SBS, D3O, Datatag and Underwater Lights. Oh, and not to forget our coolest client, DJ Carl Cox!

And now, as the night’s draw in, we’re turning our attention to EICMA and Motorcycle Live, where our entire Holeshot team will be in attendance helping to bring our clients stories to life.
