As this summer was drawing to a close, Gerbing UK asked Holeshot PR to help launch their all-new 2020 range of heated motorcycle gloves and jackets. With four new gloves, a brand new jacket liner, trousers and socks, it’s their biggest revamp in years so we jumped at the chance to unveil the range to the motorcycling press and beyond.
Our first task was to understand the new technology featured within the range, so we could then knowledgeably sell the products into journalists. After that, we spent a day with Gerbing at their UK base to secure a bank of product imagery as well as creating a short and insightful series of videos which could then be used across social media to introduce the new collection to the public.
With the content secured, it was time to begin introducing the products to the press. With the products each arriving into the UK across the autumn, it has enabled us to plan a set schedule of press releases to ensure a steady flow of coverage for Gerbing over the next few months – and with articles already having appeared in every major motorcycle title, as well as numerous journalists eager to try the kit with their longtermer machines it looks set to be a scorching winter!
